About Revisited

I thought it was obvious, but judging by some of the e-mails and write-ups I have been getting, I was wrong.

The about page is a joke, a parody of a GeoCities/Tripod type website. That goombah isn't me, I googled the image from a website somewhere in Italy. I look more like this.



My name is John. Born August 1952 in California's Bay Area. Later made my home in Northern Nevada. I have a permanent physical handicap that ended my career and brought me here (temporarily), to the southern Willamette Valley - what the natives called The Valley of Death.

I don't consider this a Blog, or myself a blogger. I don't give a rats ass about the blogosphere, aspire to be a part of it, or pretend this to be anything more than an Apache folder on my scratch built home computer - my attempt at system administration, web design and a collection of links I found interesting or absurd. I maintain my own server and database, and have limited bandwidth. If traffic ever gets to the point that my system can't handle it, I'll either get it hosted, or pull the plug. (I don't actively promote this site for that reason)
